Red Hook
This play explores how trust, friendships, and a community are torn apart when a serial child killer is on the loose in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Written by Ovi Vargas, Red Hook won First Place in 2005's Diverse Voices Playwriting Contest and is currently in HBTL’s Development Program. In February of 2006 Red Hook received a reading at the Duffy Theater in Manhattan featuring Vincent Pastore, Bobby Funaro, and Maureen Van Zandt of HBO’s The Sopranos.

Praise - The Gospel Musical Event
Starring Bebe Winans & Donnie McClurkin, Praise—The Gospel Musical Event, pays homage to this rich musical legacy music, passed down through the generations, with a tremendous influence throughout American history. Arranged by today’s top contemporary producers and presented in a spectacular theatrical setting, Praise is currently in development for the Broadway stage and arenas in major markets with large minority populations. In partnership with schools in selected cites, the Praise tour will offer stimulating educational components to teach youth the history of gospel music.
